King Charles III gave The Queen a ring that belonged to a beloved family member who he was once very close to..

 In February 2005, the royals officially announced their engagement before marrying two months later at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, with Prince William serving as the best man.. 



 The King clearly had taste, choosing a family heirloom that once belonged to his late grandmother.. 



 Estimated to be worth £210,000 before gracing the Queen’s ring finger, the platinum piece was prominently worn and photographed in the 1980s by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.. 




 The ring follows the popular trend of a classic emerald cut, favoured by Beyonce, Jacqueline Kennedy and Amal Clooney, and Sophia Richie.. 



 The seven-stone piece ring is an Art Deco design that features a five-carrot emerald cut, four-claw set diamond at the centre, with three diamond baguettes flanking either side, decreasing in size..
