Kate Middleton and Prince William Don't Plan to Meet With Prince Harry
Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly don't plan to meet with Prince Harry when he returns to the UK next week for the Invictus Games' 10th-anniversary event.
Harry's trip to the UK would be his first since February, when he visited King Charles upon his cancer diagnosis, and also since he got wind of Kate's cancer diagnosis.
As Harry's trip to the UK for his Invictus Games 10th-anniversary event draws close, the prospects of him seeing William and Kate have now been likened to near-impossible.
Harry made a frantic transatlantic dash in February to see King Charles upon learning of his cancer diagnosis. But at the time, he did not see the Waleses. However, it had been speculated that he would be seeing Kate upon his arrival in May, as this would be the first time he would be in the UK since her cancer diagnosis.
Unfortunately, this might not be the case, as a source close to William and Kate told the Daily Beast that they are uninterested in mending broken ties with the Duke of Sussex after he left them feeling "betrayed" with his blockbuster "Spare" memoir.
"Both sides understand each other's position clearly now," the source told the news outlet. "William and Catherine felt completely betrayed by Harry's memoir [Spare]."
"They don't speak to Harry and Meghan [Markle], and they are certainly not about to start when Catherine is at her most vulnerable," the insider added.
