King Charles III and Kate attend remembrance event as both slowly return to duty

Image
LONDON (AP) — King Charles III led the nation Sunday in a two-minute silence in remembrance of fallen service personnel in central London as the Princess of Wales looked on, a further sign that the royal family is slowly returning to normal at the end of a year in which two of the most popular royals were sidelined by cancer.  Remembrance Sunday is a totemic event in the U.K., with the monarch leading senior royals, political leaders, including Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his eight living predecessors, and envoys from the Commonwealth countries in laying wreaths at the Cenotaph, the Portland stone memorial that serves as the focal point for honoring the nation’s war dead.  The service is held on the second Sunday of November to mark the signing of the armistice to end World War I “on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” in 1918. Across the U.K., services are conducted at the same time in memory of the dead... Read more

Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry may face deportation from the United States following Donald Trump's election victory Experts suggest the new administration could pose significant challenges for the royal, particularly concerning his immigration status.  Prince Harry may have lost the "upper hand" in his battle to keep his immigration documents secret after Trump's decisive election win, legal experts have revealed, MailOnline exclusively reports.   Beverly Hills attorney Alphonse Provinziano , an international family law specialist, has warned that Harry could face a “fight” to remain in the US during Trump's presidency. "One unlikely loser of the 2024 US presidential election is Prince Harry," said Provinziano.  "Trump has repeatedly said that he thinks Harry should not be allowed to stay in the United States since he 'betrayed the Queen' and possibly was not forthcoming about his past drug use on his visa application... Prince Harry warned Meghan Markle to avoid sensitive topics in her...

Image
Prince Harry apparently had a few “friendly” warnings for Meghan Markle before her 2017 Vanity Fair interview, urging her to steer clear of ‘three’ sensitive topics. But, as royal author Tom Bower details in Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, Meghan seemed to have other plans.  Despite Harry's best efforts to keep their private lives under wraps, the interview ended up flaunting exactly what he had hoped to avoid, including a headline that screamed “She's Just Wild About Harry.” The Duke of Sussex might be feeling the heat of the looming troubles surrounding his UK departure, especially with his ongoing visa issues, as Donald Trump secured the White House for a second time.  In return, the Trump family has made it clear that they hold no personal favours for the estranged royal and will not extend the same protections the Democrats do. But did Harry see this coming? In 2017, Meghan sat down for an in-depth conversation with Vanity Fair journalist Sam...

Prince Andrew takes decisive step about royal lodge after King Charles' latest move Prince Andrew is facing mounting pressure to leave his royal Lodge after King Charles' latest financial blow to him.   The Duke of York has made a final decision about his luxury royal residence after being cut off by the King. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie's father has decided to strengthen his grip on his favourite home as he's refusing to vacate the Royal Lodge, seemingly defying the monarch's decision.  Andrew does not want to shift in Frogmore Cottage, which was previously owned by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's previous royal residence.   The 75-year-old King has put an end to the disgraced royal's finances, but he's still refusing to leave the property. Image

He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was dow...

King Charles ‘axes’ Prince Andrew’s £1m allowance due to Royal Lodge row

Image
The King will cut financial ties to the disgraced Duke of York after he refused to move out of his home, a royal writer has claimed.   Prince Andrew’s £1 million “living allowance”, received every year, has been withdrawn by Charles as he continues to seek to distance himself from his younger brother. This is according to royal writer Robert Hardman, in the serialisation of a new book published by the Daily Mail.   The keeper of the privy purse was “instructed to sever [Andrew’s] living allowance”. It comes after Andrew reportedly refused to move out of the 30-room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor Great Park into the smaller Frogmore Cottage - previously inhabited by Harry and Meghan. "’The duke is no longer a financial burden on the King,’ confirms one familiar with the situation,” Mr Hardman writes... Read more

The Royals appears to be unhappy Duke of Sussex 6.5million Portugal move

Image
According to reports published in Mirror, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have bought a home in Portugal. One commentator in fact suggested that the move makes sense to anyone who read the Duke of Sussex’s tell-all memoir ‘Spare’ which is a hugely controversial book leaking out the dark secrets of the British Royal family. But did you know that Harry and Meghan’s nestling in Europe has not exactly impressed the locals? Though Harry and Meghan are in no mood to leave their high-flying California lifestyle behind, they have decided to stay close to Prince Harry’s homeland by reportedly purchasing a new property in Melides, Portugal.  According to reports published in Mirror, Harry and Meghan have apparently purchased a swanky pad on the sunny Iberian coast, which could bag them a ‘Golden Visa’ for easy-peasy travel through the EU’s Schengen zone - and with a £6.5 million price tag, it really will be a golden ticket to the EU...
